Ampla Health is seeking a Dental Receptionist to serve as the friendly first point of contact for our dental patients. This role handles front desk duties, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and payment processing—all while helping ensure a smooth patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone

Schedule, confirm, and follow up on dental appointments

Verify dental coverage, treatment authorizations, and patient eligibility

Generate treatment estimates and collect co-pays or fees
-
Reconcile daily payments and prepare deposit records

Process referrals, record requests, and patient correspondence
-
Maintain electronic patient records, scan documents, and support front office operations

Collaborate with dental and billing teams to ensure efficient clinic workflow
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
-
Typing speed of 40+ WPM
-
Proficient with Microsoft Word and dental software (e.g., CPS)

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-
Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish, Punjabi, or Hmong)
Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 40 lbs and push up to 100 lbs
-
Must be comfortable with frequent standing, sitting, bending, and multitasking

Occasional exposure to infectious diseases
