Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Ampla Health is seeking a skilled and reliable Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to support our dental team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role involves performing clinical duties under general and direct supervision, in accordance with California dental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with exams, charting, and basic dental procedures
- Perform coronal polishing and sealant placement (if certified)
- Place and remove temporary dressings, post-op dressings, and periodontal packs
- Take x-rays, perform pulp testing, and size crowns/bands
- Maintain patient comfort and support dental providers chairside
- Travel to other clinic locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Valid California RDA license
- Current CPR and X-ray certification
- Strong communication and patient service skills
- High manual dexterity and physical stamina for clinical tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
