Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Join Ampla Health as a Certified Medical Assistant, a key member of our care team supporting providers and ensuring efficient patient flow in a busy clinical setting. You'll assist with exams, take vitals, manage EHR data, administer medications, and provide exceptional care in accordance with clinic protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Escort patients and collect vitals
- Support providers with patient care, documentation, and procedures
- Administer immunizations and medications per protocol
- Process lab specimens and maintain EHR and referral systems
- Assist with patient education, prescription refills, and follow-ups
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe clinical environment
- Participate in quality improvement activities
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Completion of Medical Assistant training program
- Certified MA with current CPR certification
- Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
- Experience in outpatient primary care (preferred)
