Ampla Health is seeking a Quality Assistant to support our Quality Team in improving patient care outcomes. This role is responsible for training staff on quality measures, reconciling patient data, and using standing orders to close care gaps. The Quality Assistant helps ensure accurate reporting of HEDIS, UDS, and other quality metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support providers and staff with quality workflows and training
- Use EHR and payer platforms to track and improve quality measures
- Provide report cards to care teams and identify missed opportunities
- Perform patient outreach to close gaps in care
- Maintain and reconcile patient data from multiple sources
- Assist with quality assurance audits and data validation
- Collaborate with clinical teams, quality coordinators, and leadership
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Associate degree or Medical Assistant training preferred
- Experience with EHR systems and Microsoft Excel/Word
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to type 40+ wpm and create spreadsheets/graphs
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and travel to assigned clinics as needed
