Ampla Health is seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and credentialing. This role ensures efficient HR processes, upholds organizational standards, and supports a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage performance discussions and documentation in Paycom; ensure timely completion and policy compliance.

  • Process Employment Development Department (EDD) claims and prepare monthly Board reports.

  • Coordinate provider onboarding, credentialing, and annual renewals; maintain accurate records.

  • Track and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook; manage uploads in Paycom and Contract Works.

  • Assist with position scoring, employment agreements, and salary surveys.

  • Support FMLA, Workers’ Compensation, and legal documentation as needed.

  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HR regulations and internal policies.

  • Participate in Quality and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; AA degree or 3+ years of HR experience preferred.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR systems (Paycom preferred).

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and credentialing preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and perform standard office tasks (sitting, standing, reaching).

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
