Medical Receptionist – Ampla Health
Join Ampla Health as a Medical Receptionist, where you'll be the first point of contact for patients—ensuring a positive experience both in person and over the phone. You'll manage front desk operations, verify coverage, and support administrative tasks that keep our clinic running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, manage incoming calls, and schedule appointments
- Complete patient registration and update Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Verify insurance coverage, co-pays, and patient eligibility
- Collect and post payments; reconcile daily cash transactions
- Maintain daily schedules and front desk inventory
- Support daily clinic operations and administrative needs
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certification required
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word; able to type 40+ WPM
- Experience with payment collection and insurance verification
- Bilingual (Spanish, Punjabi, or Hmong) preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Working Conditions:

- Able to lift 40 lbs and push 100 lbs on wheels
- Frequent standing, bending, and reaching
