YOUR MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent sales experience.
- 4+ years of experience in grant writing, or proposal writing.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, new business, and proposal coordination, ideally in a marketing agency or professional services setting.
- Willingness, ability, and transportation acces to travel within Greater New England to meet clients and attend company events during and after work hours if required.
- Internet access required.
- Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure the timely and successful submission of proposals and other key deliverables.
- Possesses exceptional negotiation, consultative sales, and problem-solving abilities, allowing for a deep understanding of client needs and the crafting of compelling solutions.
- Strong writing, communication, and time management skills, with ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Teams, Word, Power Point), CRM software (Salesforce highly preferred), Adobe Pro, and Adobe InDesign using these tools to streamline workflow and manage client relationships effectively.
- Familiarity contracting with State, Government, and Private sectors.
- Proven experience drafting and managing detailed project plans, ensuring smooth execution and successful outcomes.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also thriving in a matrix organization, collaborating seamlessly across teams with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- A creative and strategic thinker, always looking for innovative ways to approach challenges and seize new opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal skills, comfortable and effective when engaging with diverse groups and building lasting professional relationships.
