What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied analytics roles, with a proven ability to take models from initial concept through development, validation, and production deployment. Experience should include working with real-world, imperfect data, collaborating across teams to define meaningful use cases, and iterating on models in live environments with measurable impact.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with ML libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) for prototyping and experimentation.
- Experience working with IoT data, telemetry systems, or predictive maintenance applications.
- Solid background in time series analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection techniques.
- Skilled in data cleaning, feature engineering, statistical modeling, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data workflows (e.g., SQL, Snowflake, Airflow, etc.).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and building in iterative, agile environments.
- Passion for applying data science to real-world problems that create customer and business value.

The California base annual salary range for this role is currently $140,000-160,000 plus bonus. Pay scales are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
