Join Concilio — A Legacy of Community, Culture, and Service
Concilio, Philadelphia’s first Latino nonprofit organization, has been serving the city for over 60 years through culturally rooted programs that uplift families, empower youth, and strengthen communities. Our work centers on equity, education, and engagement — and we’re seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant to the CEO to join our mission-driven team.
As Executive Assistant, you’ll be a trusted partner to Concilio’s Chief Executive Officer and a vital part of our leadership support team. You will manage the daily operations of the CEO’s office, coordinate internal and external communications, and ensure the CEO’s time and priorities align with the strategic direction of the organization.
This is more than a support role — it’s an opportunity to contribute directly to the impact of a growing organization with deep community roots. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and deeply committed to serving diverse communities with cultural humility and care.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Manage complex scheduling, meeting coordination, and correspondence on behalf of the CEO
-
Serve as a liaison to board members, community partners, and internal departments
-
Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive organizational and personnel matters
-
Draft and edit communications, meeting materials, and reports
-
Support event logistics and represent the CEO at key organizational engagements
-
Help drive cross-functional projects that further Concilio’s strategic mission
What We’re Looking For:
-
5+ years of experience supporting executive leadership, preferably in a nonprofit setting
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills
-
Excellent time management, discretion, and judgment
-
A deep understanding of and connection to Philadelphia’s communities
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Zoom, and scheduling platforms
