Field Service Technician Overview

Location: This position is based at our Waco store.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities

As a Field Service Technician with WCTractor, you will apply your technical expertise and exceptional customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention. This position focuses on servicing hay equipment, including round balers, square balers, and related machinery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide on-site service and customer support during field visits.

• Conduct diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and testing of equipment.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and determine effective solutions.

• Prepare timely and detailed service reports.

• Understand customer requirements and offer appropriate solutions.

• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.

• Operate the service vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Field Service Technician Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for insurance purposes.

• Proven field service experience with strong mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and work on your feet for up to eight hours a day.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• A technical degree is preferred but not required.

• Training opportunities provided directly from leading manufacturers, including Kubota.
