The Kitchen Runner will assist in providing a superior dining experience to Guests of Thunder Valley Casino Resort by supporting culinary operations and ensuring timely food preparation and delivery. The Kitchen Runner is responsible for assisting chefs and cooks with food production, stocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities must be performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
- Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s “ELITE” company-wide service mission and demonstrate AAA Four Diamond service standards at all times.
- Maintain the food line area with condiments, soups, soup spoons, rice, sauces, and other garnishes.
- Responsible for restocking all items during and at the end of the shift.
- Maintain proper sanitation buckets in station.
- Inspect cleanliness and presentation of completed dishes.
- Perform the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges.
- Deliver food orders from the food line to Guests’ tables rapidly and accurately, following proper serving sequence and service rules.
- Support Food Servers with Guest requests by retrieving tableware, utensils, and drink refills as needed. Remove dirty dishes and utensils as needed.
- Communicate with kitchen staff on production issues.
- Communicating with management on operational issues.
- Follow established side work and other duties assigned by management.
- Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to at all times.
