While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and push, pull, or drag up to 100 lbs.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to risks associated with travel between buildings and back and forth to other areas as may be required due to business demands. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, including second-hand environmental smoke. The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Pick up all inventory on dock and return it to office.
  • Count in inventory once in the office. If anything, missing notify supervisor.
  • Fill out office inventory sheets
  • Provide the inventory for the program sellers.
  • Enter in voids and comps for program sellers.
  • Exchange money for the program seller if change is needed.
  • Give sellers break if needed.
  • Fill in if program seller calls out.
  • Count in inventory, set up programs, racing forms and tip sheets for sale at retail sales booth during shift changes.
  • Welcome guests to Remington Park and assist with the purchasing of products.
  • Ring up sales of programs, racing forms and tip sheets on the cash register and handle cash transaction.
  • Delivering Product to On-Site Locations.
  • Monitor product inventory in the sales booth and notify supervisor if additional inventory is needed.
  • Count in money and all remaining inventory at the end of the night.
  • Count in all inventory at the end of night and run the comp report for audit.
  • Turn in paperwork into audit and turn cash into the money room.
  • May require to drive to Thunder Road House occasionally.

Qualifications

Skills/Experience/Knowledge:

  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule; including Nights, Weekends, Holidays as needed.
  • General education skills to include: Basic math skills, money handling expedience and register skills
  • Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

License/Certifications/ Other: 

  • Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Gaming License
  • Must be able to obtain an Oklahoma Horse Racing License
