Description

The Head Banquet Bartender will oversee the Club’s bar services for private events. They will maintain an awareness of the status of Bar operations during private events, being personally accountable for the quality of service, ensuring the banquet beverage team is delivering the HCC service standards, and member satisfaction is achieved. The Head Banquet Bartender will curate specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks for private events as well as a seasonal cocktail menu for the Poolside Cafe. A team player and an effective communicator, the Head Banquet Bartender will be a working supervisor, acting as a representative of the Banquet & Outlets Manager, participating in interviews, training of private event and pool bartenders, evaluating and disciplining banquet bar staff and working the bar and events as required.

Qualifications

High school graduate level education
At least 5 years of previous bartending (including some supervisory experience) in a similar luxury environment.
Experience doing inventory, purchasing, documentation and reporting of alcoholic beverage stock.
Able to communicate effectively and professionally in writing and verbally in English with all stakeholders.
Able to supervise and resolve problems quickly and effectively.
Superior team player, able to motivate and inspire team members to work to their maximum potential.
Organized and proactive
A passion for training and developing, coaching and counseling of team members.
Exceptional grooming habits including a clean and complete uniform as designated by management.
Punctual and reliable
Lift up to 50 lbs.
