Part time Security & Recruiting Intern

Overview of position:

FEDITC is looking for a highly motivated individual either currently working on their bachelors degree or recently graduated. The intern will assist the Security Department on a part time basis.

United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

Security Department Support:

• Complete required Industrial Security Training for Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO).
• Enroll in and complete assigned IT security training courses within the BizLibrary Learning Management System (Skillsoft).
• Assist with security documentation, compliance tracking, and administrative support for ongoing security projects.
• Support the team with special projects involving security policy implementation, clearance paperwork preparation, and internal security audits.

Recruiting Department Support:

• On occasion, assist the recruiting team with special projects, including data entry, candidate tracking, and research tasks as needed.

Professional Development:

• Gain exposure to federal security regulations and best practices.
• Build foundational skills in IT security awareness, talent acquisition processes, and government compliance standards.

Experience/Skills:

• College student or recent graduate
• Must be able to work daytime hours

Education:

• High school diploma is required

Clearance:

• Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.

• Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
