Job Overview: 

Tactacam is looking for a driven, collaborative Ecommerce Operations Manager to be the main technical liaison between our business teams and our technical team. As the Ecommerce Operations Manager, you will ensure ecommerce project requirements, scope, and deliverables are clearly defined and aligned with business objectives. You’ll manage the project lifecycle, from planning and execution through to testing and deployment, using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Additionally, the Ecommerce Operations Manager should have business acumen, capitalizing on trends and insights gained from analyzing site performance and customer inputs and easily translate business partner needs into actionable solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills, and will have the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities: 

Act as the primary resource for driving new and existing projects for the Ecommerce team, including website updates and enhancements and technology enablers (tools and systems) 

Creates and maintains schedules, planning calendars, progress reports, and other project documents 

Coordinates and leads status calls with cross-functional business partners 

Drives internal and external activities and provides project analysis necessary to achieve dates defined in the project schedule 

Manages stakeholder relationships to ensure prioritization, engagement, and alignment 

Prevents or minimizes delays by keeping all stakeholders informed of project status 

Works closely with an Ecommerce technical development team to facilitate deliverables based on resource availability and business needs 

Maintains and refines project management processes, working with manager and other leaders to drive overall process improvement 

Create reports on online sales, customer behavior, and website performance using Magento / Adobe Commerce, Google Analytics, and Mouseflow 

Identify patterns and trends in customer purchases and market changes to suggest user experience improvements to business partners 

Collaborate with developers and UX/UI Designer to optimize web performance and ensure website designs are effective and intuitive 

Actively and successfully manages knowledge of multiple brands and appropriate communication priorities 

Assist Ecommerce leaders in developing and implementing an Ecommerce roadmap 

 

Qualifications

Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, Marketing, or Business 

3+ years of professional experience in Ecommerce or Project Management roles 

Proficiency with Figma and experience working with Magento / Adobe Commerce preferred 

Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly define project schedules and deadlines

Strong understanding of Ecommerce system architecture and knowledge of agile methodologies

Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence and Slack preferred 

Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills 

Ability to work independently as a self-starter who is proactive and deadline driven
