Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- A knowledge of various trades (i.e. electrical, plumbing, and HVAC).
- Must be skilled at using hand and power tools and test equipment; and be able to trouble shoot and diagnose equipment problems, research replacement parts, make repairs and properly maintain records.
- Must be a team player, self-starter and can work with individuals who have special needs and disabilities.
- Must be computer literate.
- Able to respond to emergency situations in accordance with training received.
- Take appropriate on call rotation as required.
- Pool system experience would be beneficial.
- Experience maintaining or working in CBRF setting a plus.

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 50-100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, in a variety of situations, including using stairs or during inclement weather and team-lift 100 pounds. Moving about, fingering, picking, pinching, grasping items, typing, or otherwise working. Must be able to safely access equipment in small areas such as closets, under desks, etc. Must be able to ascend and descend a ladder. Talking, expressing, or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Hearing, perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
Working Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside.
