East West is hiring a strategic and results-driven Account Manager to lead key global customer partnerships, drive sustainable growth across our integrated EMS platform.   The ideal candidate combines strong business insight, commercial acumen, and operational understanding to influence both internally and externally.  This role is central to achieving East West’s mission of making the world cleaner, safer, healthier, and smarter by managing large-scale OEM relationships and ensuring exceptional execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth.

 

Job Summary

The Account Manager leads strategic direction, executive relationships, and financial performance for assigned global, multi-site customer accounts. Acting as the primary liaison between East West and key clients, this role drives profitable growth, ensures customer satisfaction, and leverages East West’s integrated services to deliver strategic value.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Leadership & P&L Ownership (40%)

  • Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Manage account-level commercial performance, including forecasting, pricing, margin improvement, and business growth
  • Lead contract negotiations and oversee commercial terms such as pricing models, payment terms, and NRE recovery
  • Track revenue, cost performance, and commercial KPIs across global sites

Executive Relationship Management & Growth (40%)

  • Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to customer executive teams (Director through C-level)
  • Lead executive business reviews (QBRs, strategy summits) and translate customer priorities into actionable growth initiatives
  • Identify and secure new opportunities within existing accounts, including design, vertical integration, and value engineering projects
  • Foster long-term partnerships through proactive communication, trust, and reliable delivery of results

Cross-Functional Leadership & Customer Advocacy (15%)

  • Coordinate internal teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery
  • Serve as an escalation point for critical issues and advocate for customer priorities
  • Align internal resources to meet customer KPIs and strategic goals

Culture & Continuous Improvement (5%)

  • Model East West’s values contribute to process improvements in account management

 

Knowledge, Ability & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in EMS or related manufacturing industries, specifically in account or program management roles
  • Proven record of developing and growing complex, multi-site customer accounts
  • Demonstrated success building strategic relationships and influencing customer executives
  • Strong executive communication and presentation skills
  • Solid commercial and financial understanding (pricing, forecasting, cost analysis)
  • Deep knowledge of contract manufacturing, supply chain, and product realization processes
  • Skilled negotiator with experience in contract terms and long-term agreements
  • Advanced proficiency in CRM (Salesforce), Excel, and business analytics tools
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 20%)
