Description

We are seeking a strategic and collaborative Director of Product Marketing to join our team at FR Conversions, a fast-growing manufacturer of accessible and emergency vehicle conversions. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between Product Management, Sales, and Marketing, helping to shape go-to-market strategies, refine product messaging, and support the successful launch and promotion of our vehicle solutions. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for a strategic marketer who can operate independently while helping to build the foundation for a growing marketing function. As our team scales, this role is expected to evolve into a broader leadership position with increased responsibilities over time. The Director of Product Marketing will report directly to the Vice President of Product Management and may work remotely, with required monthly travel to our headquarters in Westminster, MD.

Why Join FR Conversions?

At FR Conversions, we do more than convert vehicles—we create access, mobility, and freedom for individuals and communities. As the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a critical role in communicating the value of our solutions to the people who need them most. You’ll work in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where innovation is encouraged and your contributions have real impact on the lives of customers across the mobility and healthcare industries. You'll be joining a lean but growing Product and Marketing department, currently a team of two (VP and Director). This is a unique opportunity to help shape the department’s direction, systems, and future hires as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with Product and Sales leadership to bring new products to market through effective go-to-market (GTM) plans.
  • Support product launch readiness, internal training, and external communications with consistency and clarity.

Product Development Support

  • Partner with R&D and Product teams to integrate market needs and customer feedback into development initiatives.
  • Assist in improving product development processes to drive efficiency, collaboration, and timely delivery.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct competitive analysis, track industry trends, and gather customer insights to influence product strategy.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for pricing and market segmentation.

Messaging & Positioning

  • Develop compelling product messaging, value propositions, and differentiation points that resonate with key audiences.
  • Create sales and marketing assets, including pitch decks, product sheets, and competitive battle cards.

Sales Enablement

  • Equip Sales with training, content, and tools that are on-brand and tailored to the customer journey.
  • Provide support for trade shows, product demonstrations, and other field marketing initiatives.

Dealer Development

  • Support onboarding, training, and engagement strategies for our dealer network to strengthen brand alignment and performance.

Campaign Development

  • Collaborate with internal teams and agency partners to plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns.

Database & Analytics

  • Maintain and improve marketing and product databases to ensure data accuracy and usability.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance and market activity to inform strategic decisions.

Salary & Compensation:

This is a full-time, salaried position with compensation based on experience and qualifications. All salary and compensation packages at FR Conversions are subject to applicable labor laws, FR Conversions standard company policies, and payroll regulations, including taxes and withholdings.

Job Categorization:

This position is a full-time, salaried, FLSA exempt role (SOC Code – 11-2021).
