PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION
Responsible for funding and loan maintenance for all branches and departments of the credit union while following credit unions policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Upon notification from lending personnel that a loan is ready for disbursal a thorough review of the lending system must be completed prior to funding. The review consists of but is not limited to the following:
- Correct purpose and collateral code.
- Correct rate in regard to the collateral code.
- Ensure user defined fields are completed correctly and match comments.Â
- Ensure the loan amortization is completed correctly. (term, rate, due date, insurance code)
- Ensure loan Pre-Authorization is completed accurately.
- Contact the lending personnel if anything of the above is in question or corrections need to be conducted.
- Disburse the approved loan according to lending personnel instructions. Instructions may include but is not limited to the following:
- Transfers to and/or from members accounts.
- Transfers to and/or from a general ledger.
- Place a hold on funds.
- Distribute funds to a third-party account via basic transfer or wire transfer.
- Conduct a review on the core system to verify the loan was disbursed correctly which includes a review of the loan history and loan status.
- Change loan frequency, payment amount, due date, payment method, insurance code, rate, maturity date, user-defined fields, purpose and collateral code upon proper approval and retrieval of proper documentation and forward the proper documentation to the records department.
- Conduct all loan reversals or additions per lending personnel for DBO, Chargeback, Cuna Premiums, Collateral protection insurance (auto and real estate) and Alacriti transactions.
- Perform specific requests to add funds to loans for repo bills, gap, MMP and title expenses.
- Retrieve, track and process gap and MMP cancellation transactions.
- Prepare and under dual control perform the required changes for all Term Share Renewals after verification of the loan amortization and forward the proper documentation to the member and records department.
- Conduct a thorough research of an account for the above transactions to ensure proper adherence to policies and procedures.
- Process annual skip a pay transaction according to procedures.
- Work various lending reports monthly and as needed.
- Scan all daily activities and balance daily work.
- Demonstrates an understanding of and follow the requirements of all regulation compliance including but not limited to those Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), AntiMoney Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions.
- Responsible for completing BSA/AML compliance training annually.
- All other duties as assigned.
