Job Summary: As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and processing warranty claims for vehicles and parts. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure accurate documentation and timely resolution of warranty issues, contributing to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warranty Claims Processing: Review, prepare, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers or suppliers, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Claim Follow-Up: Monitor the status of submitted claims and follow up with manufacturers to ensure timely processing and resolution.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of all warranty claims, approvals, and rejections in the company’s database.
  • Customer Communication: Assist customers with warranty inquiries, providing information on coverage and claims status.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all warranty claims comply with manufacturer guidelines and dealership policies.
  • Reporting: Generate and analyze reports on warranty claims, trends, and financial impacts to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts departments to facilitate the warranty process and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on warranty processes and best practices as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in automotive technology or warranty administration is preferred.
  • Previous experience in warranty administration or a related role in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and warranty management software.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair processes and parts is a plus.
