Position Summary


Red Cat Holdings is looking to fill an immediate position for a full-time Director of IT – ERP Systems to lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of our enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment. Red Cat Holdings is a leading innovator in drone technology, specializing in mission-ready solutions for defense, public safety, and commercial applications. This individual will play a critical role in aligning ERP systems with business operations, ensuring seamless integration across departments, and driving continuous improvement in system performance and user experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ERP architecture and deployment, strong project leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to partner effectively with Finance, Operations, HR, and other functional leaders.

This role will be based out of Teal Drones, a wholly owned subsidiary of Red Cat, facility in Salt Lake City, UT and will report to the Corporate Controller.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


ERP Strategy & Leadership

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of ERP initiatives, including new implementations, upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
  • Act as the primary owner of the ERP roadmap and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand process needs and translate them into scalable ERP solutions.

System Oversight & Optimization

  • Oversee daily operations of ERP systems (e.g., SAP B1), ensuring availability, security, and performance.
  • Evaluate and implement system upgrades and patches as necessary to maintain functionality and compliance.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives using ERP functionality to improve efficiency, accuracy, and reporting across departments.
  • Maintain system documentation, policies, and procedures.

Project Management & Implementation

  • Lead cross-functional ERP-related projects, from business case development through post-implementation support.
  • Manage timelines, budgets, risk, and resource allocation for all ERP-related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams for system integration and support.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal controls and external regulations (e.g., SOX, ITAR, CMMC).
  • Establish and enforce ERP governance frameworks, change management protocols, and access controls.
