Are you passionate about mobilizing others to serve and make a difference in the community? If this is you, Shepherd Church is looking for a dynamic Local Outreach Coordinator to help us lead the charge in loving our city through service.
In this role, you’ll help identify and coordinate meaningful serving opportunities, build strong relationships with local ministry partners and GO Teams, and inspire our church family to live out their faith in tangible ways. You'll support and develop volunteer Team Leads, oversee event planning and promotion, manage outreach budgets, and track engagement — all while being the face behind our Local Outreach ministry.
What You’ll Do:
- Research, plan, and promote local serving opportunities for our church members
- Serve alongside teams and provide care and leadership to volunteers
- Connect and collaborate with community partners and ministries
- Provide vision, training, and support to Team Leads
- Manage outreach communication, web updates, and event logistics
- Track and ensure the success of outreach efforts through clear metrics
