Education and/or Experience Â
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience collaborating with individuals with autism is preferred
- Must have strong skills in communication, data recording, graphing, and maintaining records.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsÂ
- Must complete, CPR, First Aid, and RBT certification if applicable within 180 days of hire.Â
- Continuous education on developmental disabilities and ABA therapy is required to ensure the latest standards are met.Â
- Must maintain these certifications through regular documentation of supervision, trainings, and communication with supervisors, behavior analysts, and clinical director. Â

Bluegrass Center for Autism offers eligible Full-time team members health insurance and welfare benefits designed to fit the needs of their immediate families, including registered domestic partners. These voluntary benefits include medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance policies. All insurance benefits are only available to Full-Time team members on the first day of the month after 60 days of employment. As an additional benefit for eligible team members enrolled in medical coverage, Bluegrass Center for Autism will pay a percentage towards your premium; for each year of service reached, the percentage that BCA will pay towards your premium will increase, and the team members' portion will lower.Â
Bluegrass Center for Autism offers all eligible team members to participate in our 401K plan. Participant requirements are a minimum age of 21 and must have worked full-time for 12 consecutive months and 1,000 hours of service.Â
- Paid Time OffÂ
Bluegrass Center for Autism team members receives time off when the learners are not in session. Hourly team members are not paid during the day students are not in session. Full-time team members are eligible to receive paid time off (PTO) after completing their 90-day orientation period to use at their discretion with supervisory approval. January 1, all eligible team members receive Ten days (or 80 hours) of PTO each calendar year. If a team member becomes eligible after January 1, their PTO amount will be prorated based on their 90-day eligibility date. Hourly team members are not paid during the days students are not in session. PTO hours do not roll over into the next calendar year but may be cashed in at the end of the calendar year. Bluegrass Center for Autism offers a Bonus PTO for hourly-only team members to earn additional quarterly PTO hours based on attendance that may be used on dates BCA is closed. These earned quarterly attendance PTO hours may not be used during dates that BCA is in session.Â

Bluegrass Center for Autism offers a $20K employer-provided life insurance policy for Full-time eligible team members.
- Work anniversary bonuses:Â
BCA offers all staff members a work anniversary bonus; you will receive $100 for every year of service to our organization on your annual work anniversary.Â
Hours of OperationÂ
Bluegrass Center for Autism's hours of operation is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. Instructors will be assigned to early care one day a week from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm on that day.Â
