Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient

We are looking for exceptional people to provide extraordinary care as a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Services Unit. Current opportunities available:

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday. 50 hours per pay period , or 60 hours per pay period (every 2 weeks). Specific hours for the position will be discussed during the interview.  

This professional provides planned and highly skilled nursing care for the immediate pre-operative and post-operative patients.  Through continuous patient surveillance, allows for early recognition of medical or surgical complications, which may arise in any patient.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Admits patient to pre-op area, performs and documents assessments.
• Receives patient from surgery and evaluates needs of patient, administering care accordingly.
• Assesses and documents patient status. Evaluates nursing goals, care plan and outcomes.
• Performs pre- and post-operative assessments and teaching.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit or nursing license. 
• Current BLS required at time of hire.
• ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of employment.
• Prefer PACU and/or recovery care experience.
