Description

 This position reports directly to the Managing Director – Data Center Solutions and is a highly technical, customer focused and self-motivated individual.  The Director of Low Voltage Cabling (LVC) Services is responsible for overseeing Go!Foton’s LVC and fiber infrastructure service operations for Hyperscale, Neocloud, CoLo, and Enterprise data center customers. This role will manage end-to-end delivery of structured cabling and fiber infrastructure projects, ensuring execution excellence across multiple subcontractor partners and simultaneous large-scale deployments. The Director will serve as a strategic leader, driving operational consistency, customer satisfaction, and profitable growth within the Data Center Business Unit. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Enterprise Services

  • Directs all aspects of the Low Voltage Cabling (LVC) business unit performance while overseeing the complete service delivery life cycle – Engineering, Product Delivery, Installation, Integration, and Test & Turn up services to meet Project Completion, and Customer Satisfaction.

  • Lead and grow the LVC Services organization, including Project Managers, Solutions Architects, and Engineers.

  • Develops and manages the relationship with LVC partners to deliver Services in accordance within budgets, project timelines, customer requirements and customer satisfaction.

  • Experience in managing multiple diverse teams across separate partner agencies.

  • Manage multiple concurrent LVC and fiber infrastructure projects for hyperscale, AI, and enterprise data center customers.

  • Develop, track and report on the key performance indicators (KPI) aligning with the AI Data Center value propositions.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies, competitive positioning, and pricing models that maximize revenue while maintaining strong profits.

Enterprise Engineering

  • Oversees all engineering operations and technical delivery, ensuring that every product meets quality standards and customer specifications.

  • Leads the technical scoping and design process for complex data center fiber infrastructure projects.

  • Works directly with clients during pre-sales phases to architect fiber management solutions.

  • Manages the engineering team approach across practices and to emerging technologies including AI ready infrastructure and high density computine environments.

  • Ensures compliance with industry standards while driving continuous improvement in delivery methodologies and maintains responsibility or quality assurance across all technical deliverables.

Program Management

  • Lead client engagement and project delivery operations for Fiber Management Product and Services.

  • Builds and maintains trusted relationships with key stakeholders, customers and partners.

  • Oversees engagement execution to guarantee client satisfaction, coordinating resources, process change orders, and manage project timelines.

  • Monitor project performance metrics, progress reports, resolve conflicts and manage seamless delivery of multiple complex projects.

  • The ideal candidate will be capable of addressing all the previously mentioned technologies, speak to them professionally, plan for the implementation of these solutions, document the finalized deployment, and hand-off to the client in collaboration with the Sales Team.  

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in low voltage cabling, structured cabling, or fiber infrastructure services, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale data center infrastructure projects for hyperscale, Neocloud or enterprise customers.
  • Strong knowledge of BICSI, RCDD, and industry standards for structured cabling and fiber systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractor teams across regions.
  • Strong background and extensive experience in using CAD/Bluebeam (or equivalent), Elevations, Cutsheets, and Connectivity Map documentation.
  • Ability to work independently with a remote team with minimal direction.
  • AI application experience is a plus.
