POSITION SUMMARY

The Account Associate plays a vital role on the PCMA team, serving as both a trusted partner to our clients and a key connector across our internal teams. This role is accountable for managing the successful fulfillment of client partnerships and contractual commitments—ensuring value is delivered, relationships are strengthened, and opportunities for growth are uncovered. The Account Associate is a proactive project manager, a collaborative relationship-builder, and a creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, global business events environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for multiple partnership and sponsorship clients, including destinations, venues, hotels, government entities, and service providers—building strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience.
  • Manage and fulfill sponsor programs and contract deliverables, creating and maintaining tools, timelines, and processes to ensure successful execution.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business and goals, identifying opportunities to elevate sponsorship value through creative activations and co-branded marketing programs.
  • Coordinate across PCMA teams and external partners, ensuring alignment, proper support, and on-time delivery of all obligations.
  • Monitor and address compliance issues in partnership with your supervisor, approaching challenges with professionalism and problem-solving.
  • Develop and execute marketing and activation programs, managing approvals, communications, and reporting to demonstrate outcomes and ROI.
  • Develop sponsor fulfillment reporting that provide both qualitative and quantitative proof of performance.
  • Onsite event fulfillment of sponsorship deliverables to include, but not limited to placing signage, setting up networking events, assisting with check-in, moving boxes, etc.
  • Maintain effective hands-on execution, managing multiple projects and priorities with agility.
  • Represent PCMA with professionalism and a customer-first mindset in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with additional logistics and projects as requested by Manager.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, respectful, and positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Comfort working with web-based platforms and ability to quickly learn new software (e.g., registration systems, project management tools).
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time in performing the work.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods of time in performing the work. 
  • Ability to pull or push objects of varying weights in performing the work. 
  • Ability to grasp objects utilizing the fingers (fine motor manipulation).
  • Ability to travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing the work.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
