Job Summary:
The Norfolk Tides are seeking to fill an immediate opening for the role of Manager, Stadium Operations. This is a full-time position responsible for daily management of various operations items at Harbor Park in order to ensure the facility meets our standard for fans and team personnel. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented and has at least a basic knowledge of trades including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical.
Norfolk Tides & Harbor Park:
The Norfolk Tides are located in Norfolk, Virginia and serve as the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. The Tides play 75 home games each season at Harbor Park as a member of the International League. Harbor Park opened in 1993 and can seat nearly 12,000 people. Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) acquired the Norfolk Tides in 2023 following a historic season in which the team won the Triple-A National Championship.
Essential Duties:
● Supervise stadium cleaning crew including game day inspection of facility for cleanliness and potential maintenance items.
● Complete general repairs and maintenance including but not limited to painting, replacing ceiling tiles, changing light fixtures, and pressure washing.
● Assist with setup and breakdown procedures for game days and other events held at Harbor Park.
● Keep an inventory of all stadium supplies and other necessary items.
● Ability to interact with and help lead game day employees and operations assistants.
● Collaborate with Director, Stadium Operations to ensure the facility is operating to standard and on projects throughout the year to improve the stadium.
