Inside Sales Account Manager

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team. This role provides aid in customer service, account coordination, and business opportunities to develop new business leads and broaden our current customer base.

Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY: 

This position would be responsible for being the liaison between departments to provide excellent customer service and project management. This position will be directly involved in the development of new customers and sales groups.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Enter customer orders and audit for accuracy.
  • Track customer orders and provide specific delivery information to customer.
  • Research and resolve issues that arise with order delays or other logistical challenges. 
  • Review and analyze customer accounts including preparation of key sales reports and projections
  • Coordinate customer requirements with internal departments including engineering, purchasing, production planning, and manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery to customer.
  • Provide excellent customer service experiences to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company product, services, and capabilities.
  • Track projects in custom ERP software.
  • Be able to communicate client expectations and specifications effectively to the internal organization.
  • Log in and administrate customer’s websites as needed to support sales orders (Ariba, PULSE, etc.)
  • Receive and execute direct credit card payment for customers who are not set up on credit terms.
  • Pursue and reconcile non-payment issues that are identified by finance as accounts receivable that are past due.
  • Responsible for cross-training other team members on job responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Computer skills (proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Internet Search, High Quality Print Documentation)
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent organization and communication skills both oral and written
  • Good analytical skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Blue print reading ability desired
  • ERP experience is a plus
  • Previous sales, marketing and or customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

 

EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales/Marketing or related field is preferred
  • This is an entry level position. Prior sales experience is preferred.
