Description

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a per diem Emergency Medicine Physician to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. Accommodating more than 250,000 outpatient visits, and more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Opportunity Details:

  • Modern, fully renovated Emergency Department within the new Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital building (opened 2023)

  • Designated Level II Trauma Center with over 90,000 annual ED visits

  • Comprehensive on-site services including advanced imaging, trauma surgery, neurology, cardiology, and ICU support

  • Strong culture of collaboration between Emergency Medicine, nursing, and consulting services

  • Flexible schedule available

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical School.
  • Completion of an ABMS Approved Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program.
  • Board certified or the ability to become board certified within 5 years of hire.
  • Active, unrestricted NYS License.
  • Experience attending to an under-served population preferred.

 

Per Diem Rate: $186.84* per hour
