Summary/Objective

The Store Clerk and Warehouse driver will have responsibility within the workforce center retail store, along with trips into the community for pickups. Will need to be comfortable providing supervision, protection, and care of youth and young adults individually and in groups as they gain work experience. 

Essential Functions

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in achieving store sales goals.
• Maintain and rotate stock.
• Ensure appropriate pricing.
• Build displays.
• Take care of damaged and distressed merchandise.
• Help maintain proper stock levels and present the store in a way that conveys a clean, neat, and well-stocked image.
• Follow and enforce agency policies and procedures.
• Responsible for ensuring customers receive service satisfaction, as well as quality in donated goods.
• Drive a truck in the community to receive donations and other items to be placed in the store

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma preferred.
• Must have a valid California driver's license.
• Must be comfortable driving a large truck in the community and pass a required driving skills test
• Must be able to relate well with customers, handle money and provide proper change, and provide a good role model to emotionally disturbed youth and young adults.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass DOJ/FBI clearances
