Summary:          

Law Firm seeking a full-time docketing coordinator to manage and track the deadlines and schedules.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitoring and managing critical deadlines for filings, responses to office actions, and maintenance fees to ensure timely compliance.
  • Updating and managing the docketing system or database with accurate information on filings, and correspondence.
  • Generating and sending reminders for upcoming deadlines to patent attorneys and clients to avoid missed deadlines.
  • Organizing and filing documents, including application submissions, office actions, and other correspondence.
  • Ensuring that all docketing records are accurate and up-to-date, including verifying deadlines and status changes.
  • Assisting with administrative tasks.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Diligence and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
  • Normal office environment
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
