What You’ll Do

As a General Education Teacher at RePublic, you will:

Drive Academic Results

  • Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction that challenges and supports all learners.

  • Use assessment data to monitor scholar progress and adjust instruction to meet diverse academic needs.

  • Create a classroom environment where scholars feel valued, inspired, and supported to succeed academically and socially.

Foster a Collaborative Culture

  • Partner with colleagues to design effective lessons, share best practices, and align on instructional strategies.

  • Participate in weekly professional development sessions, embracing feedback to continuously refine your teaching practice.

  • Contribute to a school culture of growth, accountability, and collective success.

Support Scholar Success

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of scholars at varying levels of proficiency and readiness.

  • Implement strategies that support academic achievement, critical thinking, and a love of learning.

  • Maintain accurate records of scholar performance and communicate progress effectively.

Cultivate Meaningful Relationships

  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with scholars, families, and colleagues to foster a supportive school community.

  • Communicate regularly with families about scholar progress, strengths, and areas for growth.

  • Advocate for the needs of all learners, ensuring equitable access to academic opportunities and resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required).

  • Valid teaching certification or enrollment in a state-accredited Alternative Certification Program by the start of employment.

  • Preferred: Previous teaching experience, particularly in underserved communities.
