The Executive Liaison is a mission-driven role that will enhance a cohesive executive presence by modeling Holy Cross values, demonstrating independent responsibility and integrity. This individual serves as a central point of coordination for governance, institutional advancement, and stakeholder engagement activities, reflecting the school’s Catholic and Holy Cross identity in all interactions. The Executive Liaison will play a vital part in sustaining momentum by cultivating meaningful connections with leadership partners, coordinating key initiatives, and embodying the Holy Cross values of hospitality and zeal.
The Executive Liaison serves as a key partner and trusted aide to the President, Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), managing the day-to-day operations of the President’s Office, facilitating effective communication between the President and school stakeholders, coordinating strategic initiatives and playing a pivotal role in supporting the governance, leadership, and public presence of the Office of the President. This full-time, full-year exempt role requires exceptional organizational and communication skills, professional discretion, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment and a strong commitment to the school’s mission. Working in a dynamic environment, the Associate to the President manages communications and logistics related to the Board of Directors, Members of the Corporation (Congregation of Holy Cross), and key institutional committees, while also supporting student, family, alumni, donor and community engagement initiatives.Â
Specific Key Responsibilities include:
- Serve as a liaison between the Executive Leadership team and internal departments, educators, parents, students, alumni and community partners
- Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of events hosted by the President’s Office, including donor visits, board meetings and events, and special campus functions
- Track progress on strategic initiatives and ensure timely follow-up on action items
- Coordinate with multiple departments (Institutional Advancement, Admissions, Strategic Marketing & Communications, Technology, Business, etc.) to ensure alignment with priorities of the President’s Office
- Manage and prioritize incoming communications (email, calls, inquiries) to support efficient decision-making
- Support the President’s, CAO and CFO's calendar, schedule, and travel logistics with efficiency, foresight, and discretion
- Prepare and coordinate agendas, materials, and minutes for meetings of the Board of Trustees, Members of the Corporation and other key leadership bodies
- Draft, proofread, and manage high-level correspondence, reports, and presentations on behalf of the President
