Description

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Project a positive, helpful and professional attitude to our customer. Meet or exceed customer expectations of repairs at all times.
  2. Ensure customer is met and greeted immediately upon arrival. Answer phone calls politely and identify yourself.
  3. Listen and document customers’ needs, review after written to ensure accuracy, give customer an estimate for repair, or flat rate for repair, advise customer of any additional costs of repair.
  4. Discuss and define with customer terms of repair.
  5. Assist with assigning repairs to body technician qualified to make repair.
  6. Issue copy of work order to body technician.
  7. Ensure body technician reads and understands repair as written.
  8. Document time allowed on repair order, to complete repairs.
  9. Review body technicians progress of repair.
  10. Review and quality check repair, test drive as needed.
  11. Review inspection form completed by body technician, put copy in unit.
  12. Follow guidelines in Elite Support.
  13. Review open repair order report weekly, follow up to make sure RO’s are closed as soon as work is completed.
  14. Maintain a clean, safe and presentable service area.
  15. Maintain all shop equipment in operational order, follow proper procedure for replacement of any inoperable or unsafe shop equipment including ladders.

 

 

 

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR JOB:

  1. Must have the ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License.
  2. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds.
  3. Have knowledge and expertise in using special body shop tools.
  4. Must have adequate hand tools to perform daily duties.
  5. Must have excellent reading and communication skills
