MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Business, or a related field—or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of multi-state payroll tax experience, with in-depth understanding of employer obligations and filing requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in process mapping, SOP creation, and workflow improvement—especially for tax processes.
- Experience in systems implementation
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Alteryx, Power Query, or macros, with the ability to build or support tax process automations.
- Strong tax technical skills, including the ability to research, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local tax rules to new or evolving processes.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, effective time management, task focus, and excellent interpersonal abilities. Brings patience, perseverance, and consistent follow-through to all assignments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic scripting).
- Working knowledge of relational databases or tax data systems.
