We are seeking an Accounting Operations & Process Optimization Manager to join our finance team. This hybrid role combines
accounting operations oversight with process improvement and systems optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with
strong AP/AR experience, but also thrives in leading automation, workflow redesign, and cross-functional initiatives that strengthen
financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Process Optimization & Automation
- Lead identification and implementation of workflow improvements using tools such as Power Automate, RPA, and system integrations.
- Document, standardize, and streamline accounting processes to reduce errors and enhance efficiency.
- Partner with senior IT and Finance leadership to modernize ERP capabilities and unify system architecture across the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support M&A integration activities, financial compliance projects, and system implementations.
Training & Team Development
- Build program to mentor staff on accounting best practices, workflow automation, and compliance standards.
- Support development of onboarding and cross-training materials to enhance team efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Communication Skills
- Communicate effectively in individual or group situations including demonstrating active listening skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, using accurate grammatical form and able to read and interpret written information.
- Ability to communicate accounting and finance concepts to non-finance personnel.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
