Job Description
Treetop Adventure Rescue and Ground Guides spend the day in a dynamic outdoor work environment. Guides work with guests to provide a safe, fun and rewarding experience. Treetop Guides have strong communication and leadership skills; have good attention to detail; have strong customer service skills; are able to lift 50lbs; are able to stand for long periods of time; are able to walk three to five miles a day; be willing to work outside in all different types of weather; be physically fit and comfortable with heights; be a good team player; have a strong work ethic.
This position is responsible for ensuring the safety and exceptional experience for all zipline guests. Responsibilities include setting stop ropes, tying required knots, assisting guests in proper harness and helmet fitting, demonstrating proper zipping techniques, operating the zipline activity, breaking guest’s speed upon incoming approach, performing retrievals and rescues, inspecting equipment. Greeting and Harnessing Guests

Delivering Safety Briefings

Monitoring Courses - helping people safely navigate treetop obstacles

Performing Rescues (lowering clients to the ground - Rescue Guides only)

Be trained in lift operations

Be trained in other activity areas:
Zipline Specific Job Responsibilities:

Daily opening and closing procedures of the zipline course.

Supervising the progress and experience of each assigned tour group.

Assuring the safety and wellbeing of guests throughout each tour. Performing course rescues.

Conducting complete inspections of all course components and gear. Assisting with course maintenance efforts.
