Title: Dishwasher
Reports to: Executive Chef / Sous Chef
Summary of Position:
Efficiently clean and maintain all culinary areas using various cleaning techniques. Wash all dishes from meal periods including prep. Dispose of garbage and cardboard in approved receptacles.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash all dishes and kitchen equipment including broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Restock dishes in their corresponding areas.
- Maintain all paper towel and soap dispensers.
- Know and comply with Aurora quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
- Stock and maintain sufficient levels of sanitizer solution on all stations.
- Clean and maintain floors in all culinary areas.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area including but not limited to tables, shelves, prep sinks, grills, broilers, fryers, steamers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
- Dispose of trash and cardboard in approved receptacles.
- Assist in receiving all deliveries by storing and rotating all products properly.
- Assist in food prep assignments during off-peak periods as needed.
- Close the kitchen properly by following the closing checklist for kitchen stations. Assist others in the kitchen closing procedure.
- Attend all scheduled team meetings.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef, Sous Chef, or manager-on-duty.
