We’re looking for a Project Manager of Development & Finance to help grow our portfolio of affordable apartment communities. In this role, you’ll take the lead on real estate redevelopment projects—from identifying acquisition opportunities to securing financing and overseeing execution.

We value smart, curious, and highly organized individuals eager to learn, with a preference for those with previous real estate [or financial transactional] experience and a displayed commitment to supporting low-income communities. 


Your role:

  • Lead the full lifecycle of real estate development projects

  • Analyze feasibility and build financial models

  • Coordinate debt, equity, and HUD financing applications

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and partners (legal, lenders, agencies)

  • Collaborate with internal teams across construction, finance, and property management

  • Ensure smooth project transitions from acquisition to operations


Your qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business, or related field (Master’s a plus)

  • 3+ years of professional experience in real estate, finance, development, or project management

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills (Excel proficiency required)

  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail

  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders

  • Willingness to learn affordable housing finance programs (LIHTC, HUD, Bonds, etc.)

  • Familiarity with HUD, LIHTC, or public-private funding structures

Education & General Requirements

  • College Degree
  • Thorough knowledge of spreadsheet software and knowledge of word processing software Ability to speak, read and write English.
  • Ability to communicate in oral and written form with various levels of the organization Must be accessible after hours for emergencies.
  • Must be available to travel out of town & overnight.

Equipment Operation

Computer Equipment and office equipment.

Experience

Project Manager or similar experience preferred. Other related experience will be considered.
