Position Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Director of Youth Services, assists with implementation, supervision, and monitoring of the delivery of clinical and care coordination services of the RESTORE Family Treatment Team. This position will also provide direct services to families served by the team in Clarke County, GA.
Job Responsibilities and Performance Standards:
Administrative and Supervisory Duties:
- Serves as clinical consultant to RESTOREÂ staff.
- Ensures clinical services are adequate, appropriate, and accessible. Ensures ECR documentation is thorough, accurate, and timely.
- Monitors incoming referrals and assigns work tasks as appropriate.
- Serves as point of contact/liaison to school/school district staff and other community agencies.
- Assist with completing monthly/quarterly/annual deliverables for SAMHSA reporting and DBHDD reporting.
- Monitors financial performance relevant to budget expectations and makes recommendations as needed. Collaborates with director on reviewing monthly P & L report. Â
- Attends scheduled agency, school, DBHDD/COE and grant-related meetings and trainings.
- Interviews, hires, directs, trains, and evaluates the performance of staff. When necessary, disciplines and discharges employees.
- May be shadowed by peers on the job.
- Manages payroll/PTO for all direct reports and ensures timekeeping and payroll duties are managed appropriately.
- Provides staff Professional Development meetings to RESTOREÂ staff at least quarterly.
- Stays knowledgeable about guidelines and requirements that regulate provision of RESTOREÂ services, including CCBHC requirements, DBHDD utilization guidelines, SAMHSA/grant requirements, CARF, ASO requirements, DATEP/HFR regulations, DBHDD contractual obligations, and Advantage policies and procedures, etc.
- Promotes a supportive team environment that represents the mission, vision, and values of Advantage and creates a collaborative team approach to problem solving and planning.
- Coordinates and participates in on-call schedule with ability to be on-call-by phone or face to face as needed-including after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Direct Service Duties:
- Provides individual, family, or group counseling to RESTOREÂ clients and family members utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic techniques.
- Oversees RESTOREÂ caseload of up to 15 families.
- Assists in planning and implementing group curriculum.
- Complete thorough, accurate, and timely progress notes in ECR system
- Monitors, evaluates, and records client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan.
- Performs clinical assessments of the behavioral health needs of consumers presenting for services.
- Performs crisis intervention services to families served by RESTORE. Makes determinations regarding needs for higher level of care treatment.
- Refers client or family to community resources to assist in recovery from mental or physical illness and to provide access to services such as financial assistance, legal aid, housing, job placement or education.
- Provides treatment to clients in their homes and other community settings.
- Documents all interacts with youth, family, or collateral contacts-billable and nonbillable-in the electronic health record.
- Maintains the strictest confidentiality of all information related to the child's health care. Obtains a signed release from the family before sharing information with others.
Training and Credentialing:
- Maintains knowledge of current trends, developments, and evidenced based practices in the field by reading appropriate books, journals and other literature and attending related seminars, conferences and that like.
- Attends all required training, supervision, and staff meetings within the Agency.
- Completes all requirements to maintain licensure.
Performs other departmental duties as assigned or as needed to not interrupt services.
