JOB SUMMARY

Join our machine shop team as an experienced CNC Machinist to set up and operate horizontal and vertical machines and turning centers for high variety, low volume manufacturer of equipment for the firefighting and municipal markets.
 

HOURLY RATE: $46.62 plus shift differential ($1.25/hour) after completing the probationary period.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls.
• Casting machining experience desirable.
• Able to do own set-ups.
• Must be able to lift 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand continuously.
• Have personal Machinists hand tools.
• Must pass all assessments of MAPS (Manufacturing Aptitude Profile System) test.
• Criminal background checks and prior employment reference checks are conducted.
• Must pass post-offer physical examination, drug screen and physical capabilities assessment criteria.
• Can work 2^nd shift. Hours: M-F, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Saturday overtime as required.
• Must join the union after 30 days.
