BASIC FUNCTION

The Data Analytics Manager supports CLC’s ability to use data for continuous improvement, compliance, and storytelling. Reporting to the Director of Program Services and collaborating across departments, this role manages agency data systems, coordinates program reporting, and ensures accuracy and timeliness in all data submissions. The Data Analytics Manager helps develop and maintain CLC’s data dashboard, prepares program reports, and supports leadership and staff in understanding and using data to inform decision-making and communicate impact.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage agency data systems, including ChildPlus, Teaching Strategies GOLD, and other assessment and reporting tools, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Coordinate and maintain CLC’s data dashboard, helping departments enter and review data monthly to track progress toward goals.
  • Support the Director of Program Services in preparing required state, federal, and grant-related reports.
  • Develop and maintain data processes and quality controls that ensure reliable information across systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and data entry support as needed to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Help identify trends or key metrics that illustrate CLC’s progress and program outcomes.

ANALYSIS, REPORTING AND COMPLIANCE

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize program data to support internal reports and external compliance requirements.
  • Assist in preparing CLC’s Annual Program Report and other summaries that highlight agency impact.
  • Create and update dashboards, charts, and tables that make data clear and useful to staff and leadership.
  • Collaborate with departments to ensure data entry and reporting deadlines are met.
  • Conduct routine data checks to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Use analysis to support program improvements and highlight outcomes for children and families.

 

COLLABORATION AND SUPPORT

  • Work closely with program directors, education leaders, and administrative teams to ensure consistent, accurate use of data systems.
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on data entry, reporting, and interpretation.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Program Services to align reporting and analysis with agency goals and state/federal requirements.
  • Support leadership by providing reports, dashboards, and insights needed for presentations and decision-making.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning and improvement through reliable, well-organized data practices.

 

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelors Degree.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience analyzing and managing data in education, nonprofit, or human services settings.
  • You have hands-on experience with ChildPlus, Teaching Strategies GOLD, or similar early childhood data and assessment systems.
  • You understand state and federal reporting requirements and can manage data for compliance and accuracy.
  • You’re detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in Microsoft Excel and other reporting or visualization tools.
  • You can manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • You communicate clearly and enjoy helping colleagues understand and use data.
