Position Overview

In this role, you will leverage deep platform knowledge to capture and interpret client requirements, design, build, and implement technical solutions. Your in-depth knowledge of the Practifi product, its roadmap and any platform imposed limitations will position you as a source of technical expertise for others. 

You will work in partnership with the Sales and Client Success teams, attending meetings when requested, to provide guidance on feasibility and estimation of effort to meet client needs. This pivotal role will also assist in the implementation of new clients to the platform and the client upgrade journey.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Consulting and Implementation

    • Manage client projects assigned through SOW’s by collaborating with the Business Analyst and/or Client to understand the requirements and scope of work, provide accurate estimates, design and build a solution aligned with best practices within the Practifi product.

    • Participate and/or lead calls with clients to gather or clarify on project requirements.

    • Follow a defined development lifecycle process and deploy changes to production environments using deployment tools.

    • Lead training sessions and demos for clients on Practifi’s functionality and standard features as well as custom build items.

    • Collaborate with Senior Technical Consultants when needed for more complex solutions.

    • Engage in internal projects to configure and improve current product functionality.

  • Team Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Collaborate with Client Success team members on assigned projects, ensuring internal team members are aligned on project timelines and expectations.

    • Serve as an escalation point for the Support Team on configuration questions involving custom orgs.

  • Client Interaction and Communication:

    • When appropriate, participate in client meetings to advise on what Practifi solutions are realistic and achievable for the client’s needs.

    • Primarily advises on standard Practifi functionality versus custom builds.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Core Skills

  • Salesforce Configuration: User setup, profiles, permission sets, custom objects, fields, validation rules, workflows, flows, page layouts, record types

  • Automation: Flow Builder experience (screen flows, scheduled flows, record-triggered flows)

  • Data Management: Data Loader/import tools, deduplication, data security, Excel functions

  • Reports & Dashboards: Complex report creation, dashboard building

Technical Knowledge

  • Platform Experience: Financial Services Cloud and Person Accounts (preferred)

  • AppExchange and third-party integration familiarity

  • Basic Apex, Flow Debug, and SOQL/SOSL troubleshooting

  • Integration awareness: APIs and enterprise system connections

  • Change Management: Sandbox management, change sets, deployment tools (Gearset)

Professional Skills

  • Client Communication: Technical translation for non-technical stakeholders

  • Requirements Gathering: Discovery sessions, business-to-functional solution mapping

  • Solution Design: Analytical thinking, scalable approach selection, CRM best practices

  • Troubleshooting: Root cause analysis, issue triage, independent problem-solving

  • Governance: Data integrity advocacy, change control, platform sustainability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder)

  • Agile/Scrum experience and project management tools

  • Experience Cloud/Communities familiarity

  • Custom Lightning component creation

  • Functional Apex knowledge

Base Salary: $80,000 to $90,000 annually

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
