This internship offers valuable experience in the insurance industry. As a summer intern, you’ll play a vital role in supporting Safety’s mission by ensuring the accuracy and integrity of policy information.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze policy reports using various systems, ensuring accuracy.
  • Log data into spreadsheets and maintain organized records.
  • Assist department staff with various tasks, reports, and projects specific to individual departments.
  • Participate in group project alongside fellow interns, culminating in a presentation to our executive board.
  • Provide support to staff and contribute to day-to-day department operations.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in good academic standing, with a GPA of 2.75 or above
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with a strong ability to navigate computerized systems.
  • Ability to take direction, follow through on tasks and work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to commit to an internship duration of 11 weeks.
