This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong sales-driven approach and the ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and placement. The Senior Recruiter will leverage deep industry knowledge and a proven track record to build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified healthcare professionals, ensuring that placements align with client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and match physicians to permanent positions within hospital systems, private practices, and healthcare organizations across the country. This involves understanding the unique needs of each client and identifying candidates with the right qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Generate and manage a pipeline of potential physician candidates for open requisitions by consistently engaging in proactive sourcing strategies. This includes cold calling, networking, utilizing referrals, and leveraging existing databases to ensure a steady flow of qualified candidates.
  • Evaluate candidates’ knowledge, skills, and experience by conducting thorough screenings, interviews, and assessments. Ensure that all candidates meet the specific clinical, professional, and cultural requirements of each client’s vacancy before progressing them through the recruitment process.
  • Leverage online platforms, social media, and job boards to develop a diverse pool of qualified physicians. Use a range of online tools and resources to actively source, engage, and build relationships with both active and passive candidates.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and physicians, ensuring consistent communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process. Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insights on market trends, compensation structures, and hiring best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate outreach and interview coordination to offer negotiation and onboarding. Work closely with the client services team to ensure placements meet client expectations and drive long-term partnerships.
  • Utilize Bullhorn CRM to manage candidate data, track recruitment activities, and maintain accurate records. Ensure compliance with organizational standards and provide regular updates on the status of requisitions and candidate pipelines.
  • Negotiate job offers between candidates and clients, ensuring that terms align with both parties' expectations and market standards. Provide guidance to candidates on compensation, benefits, and contractual terms.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and changes in healthcare recruitment, including physician specialties, market demands, and emerging healthcare organizations. Use this knowledge to advise clients and adapt recruitment strategies as necessary.

Work Environment

  • The role is fully remote, allowing flexibility in work location while requiring adherence to standard business hours, Monday through Friday. Availability for communication with clients, candidates, and internal teams across various time zones is crucial.
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a dedicated workspace are necessary to effectively manage day-to-day tasks, including high-volume phone calls, emails, and virtual meetings.
  • Virtual communication is a core component of the role, utilizing platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Bullhorn CRM to collaborate with internal teams, manage recruitment efforts, and engage with clients and candidates.
  • The role may involve high-pressure situations and tight deadlines, particularly when filling urgent physician positions. Strong time management and organizational skills are essential to prioritize tasks and maintain productivity in a remote environment.
  • Minimal to moderate travel may be required to attend client meetings, industry events, or company meetings, depending on business needs and relationship-building opportunities.
  • Self-motivation and discipline are critical in a remote environment, as the Senior Recruiter will need to manage their own schedule, stay on top of recruitment activities, and meet individual and team performance goals.
  • The goal-oriented, results-driven atmosphere of the role requires consistent communication with team members and regular reporting on progress, recruitment metrics, and pipeline.
