The Linen Department Associate position is part of a team responsible for linen production flow activities under the direction of the Linen Department Supervisor and/or the Operations Assistant Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Following the best practices for safety
- Examine and sort linen according to color, fabric, and cleaning technique
- Assist in the laundering process for table linens, napkins, chair covers, draperies etc
- Operate commercial linen press, washer, and drier equipment
- Conduct product quality control inspections
- Assist with the packaging of processed linens
- Lift laundered linens onto storage rack system
- Assist in pulling/preparing linen orders for delivery to customers
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Additional duties as assigned
