CMM Programmer

We are seeking a qualified candidate with a strong background in dimensional inspection and quality standards in Brownsville, TX. The ideal individual will be capable of operating a CMM (PC-DMIS) and/or a Romer Arm (Verisurf) and must also be proficient in manual bench-top dimensional inspections.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate plant operations and activities
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
• Log and record readings for equipment and procedures

​Qualifications:

• Experience in the aerospace industry; familiar with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• Skilled in programming and operating CMMs and Romer Arms for complex part inspections
• Adept at reviewing documentation and inspecting parts against engineering specifications, drawings, and standards
• Supports suppliers in developing inspection plans and implementing corrective actions
• Strong understanding of statistical process control, gauge usage, and GD&T interpretation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to manage a team
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
