Treatment Positions (Lincoln County, New Mexico)
RISE Program Manager (Clinically Licensed) $70,000 plus Benefits
The Lincoln County Detention Center (LCDC) is operated by Correctional Solutions Group, LLC (CSG), a
private correctional contractor operating under contract and authority of the County of Lincoln, New
Mexico. Having been awarded a RISE grant from the State of New Mexicos Human Services Department
/Behavioral Health Services Division (HSD/BHSD), CSG is seeking to fill two positions for immediate
employment to implement, manage and provide the services of this grant. Employment is from one to
four years, possibly longer (subject to RISE grant funding and leveraging), in Lincoln County, NM.
The purpose of the RISE (Reach, Intervene, Support and Engage) program is to establish, implement and
operate a program to assess and identify individuals arrested and confined in the County Detention
Center on a repeated basis (High Rate Offenders) whose arrest may be related to the use or abuse of
alcohol or other drugs or due to mental health issues, to provide treatment and referral to those high
rate offenders while they are temporarily incarcerated, to provide case management to guide their
transition back into the community, and to meet with and follow-up with treatment and support
services in the community of release so as to reduce the incidence and rate of re-offense and
reincarceration.
Special Requirements of this Recruitment.
Licensed. These are treatment positions and both people we hire must be able to be licensed
and/or certified under the laws of New Mexico to provide alcohol, drug and mental health
assessment, treatment and case management. This can occur via New Mexicos reciprocity
process if the applicant is currently licensed in their home state.
Native American. Services will be provided to a culturally diverse population, but a good portion
of the participants will be Native Americans and some services will be provided on the
Mescalero Apache Reservation. At least one and possibly both of these positions would be
Native American Counselors qualified and acceptable to the Mescalero Tribal Council.
Local Travel. Services will be provided in the LCDC and around Lincoln County, New Mexico,
including Mescalero, Ruidoso, Carrizozo and vicinities.
Community Organizing. Though we have a program model, this program does not yet exist and
both the Program Manager and Navigation Specialist will be identifying resources and
community support to establish this program during the initial six to nine months of
employment. Two additional Counselor/Navigation Specialists will be recruited at that time.
Records Check. These positions will be correctional hires, supervised by the LCDC Warden, and
thus require a Criminal Background Investigation including NCIC, Driver's License Check, and
Drug Screen
