JOB SUMMARY:
Must be able to commute to Burbank, CA and/or Irvine on a hybrid work model (Tues/Wed/Thurs office days). Reports into Burbank as homebase about 95% of the time.
Reporting to the Director, Community, the Influencer Coordinator is an exciting role in the ever-growing success of SEGA’s many IPs and brands globally across various businesses, including games, consumer products, animation, and beyond.
The Influencer Coordinator will support the social media and Marketing team on developing creative and strategic influencer marketing and communications plans for two of our largest brands, ATLUS and RGG. This will include responsibilities such as planning, tactics, content creation, asset development, agency oversight, influencer and community communications, and more. This role is a unique opportunity to help the ATLUS and RGG brands thrive while supporting the success of others and sharing the love of their community of content creators around the globe. The ideal candidate for this role has a minimum of two to four years of Influencer Relations or Community Management experience in the gaming or consumer product industry and is passionate about games and players, OR has the necessary soft skills required to help influencers and communities thrive.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with brand marketing, social media, community, public relations, and development teams in the Americas, EMEA, and Japan to drive the overarching creator strategy and campaign narrative for the ATLUS and RGG brands.
- Collaborate with the wider teams regularly, identifying opportunities for engaging influencer-focused content that will resonate with fans of ATLUS and RGG brands.
- Support internal global teams across Licensing, Partnerships and Brand, along with key external partners (Film/TV/Streaming/Animation/Business Partners) with influencer activation support as needed
- Grow and nurture the ATLUS and RGG talent pool, ensuring that we’re reaching all segments of our diverse audience of players.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager on our paid influencer strategy and take lead on managing influencer marketing strategies.
- Work closely with the Social Media Manager to further grow and develop ATLUS and RGG influencer-facing Twitch and YouTube presence.
- Work with U.S. Influencer and/or Creative agencies in day-to-day operations to execute creative promotions.
- Help develop and project manage the creation and distribution of creator kits tailored to specific products.
- Build an in-house Influencer Program to support content creators of all sizes on Sonic releases and activations.
- Create exciting opportunities for creators to work with the ATLUS and RGG brands to aid in Product or Brand-related campaigns.
- Be a point of contact for content creators and influencers throughout NA.
- Arrange live or virtual events to utilize creators to build the ATLUS and RGG brands while also supporting their own growth.
- Use your expertise of gaming and content strategies to grow the role in a way that evolves the brand and your own professional development.
- Analyze and report earned creator campaign results focusing on quantifiable metrics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Working in-office is an essential function of this position. This requirement of face-to-face interaction is in place to ensure effective supervision, collaboration, and teamwork. In-office attendance is required for the following reasons:
