*The Commercial Loan Production Assistant position has the ability to work fully remote from Washington, Oregon or Idaho.*

 

Role Summary:

The Commercial Loan Production Assistant reports directly to the AVP of Commercial Loan Servicing and requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure to meet multiple and occasionally short deadlines to facilitate the fulfillment of the loan by collaborating with the loan officer, credit analyst and loan processors.

 

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Ordering preliminary title reports and UCC general searches, review and report any potential issues or discrepancies to the Credit Analyst and Commercial Lender.
  2. Assist in ordering appraisals, managing bids and communication with the third party appraisal management company.
  3. Work with the Credit Analyst to ensure annual review and all supporting documents are forwarded to participating Credit Unions.
  4. Weekly-Monthly reporting- Act as the lead compiling reports from Nautilus and distributing proper recipients on a weekly and monthly basis.
  5. Pre-document(s) review- work collaboratively with Credit Analyst to ensure accurate, complete and timely loan document requests are submitted to the loan processing team.
  6. Review of environmental tracking report on real estate collateral for reported critical issues.
  7. Cross train with the processing team to learn all necessary steps and processes to create loan documents using the Laser Pro program.

 

About You:

  1. Promote and participate in a cohesive team environment.
  2. Effectively communicate ideas and information, bother orally and in writing
  3. Professionally always interact with members and coworkers while maintaining unquestionable integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information is required.
  4. Navigate proficiently in the core operating system (Fiserv DNA).
  5. Solid understanding and the ability to review credit approvals, title reports, organizational documents to ensure adherence with the credit unions lending policy/procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  1. Must have the ability to accept instruction, prioritize and respond simultaneously to multiple tasks and requests with minimal supervision and under tight time constraints.
  2. Excellent computer skills using Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel and Word).
  3. The ability to display initiative and independently learn and apply skills to improve overall job performance.
  4. A strong focus of accuracy and attention to detail is required.
  5. Working knowledge of general real estate terminology is preferred.
  6. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  7. Prefer a minimum of five (5) or more year’s clerical/data entry experience and PC proficiency required.
  8. Professional conduct which includes providing excellent member service, maintain a neat and professional appearance with a positive outlook.
  9. Display leadership values such as mutual respect, trust and dignity and act in the best interest of the Credit Union, always displaying solid ethics and integrity.
  10. Must be willing to attend credit union training sessions, conferences or seminars as approved by supervisor.
  11. Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
  12. Must have above average working knowledge and understanding of title reports, appraisals and documentation that perfects the Credit Union’s lien position.
  13. Must have ability to read, understand and communicate deficiencies with legal entity formation documentation.

Salary Range:

Richland, WA: $25.11 - $37.67

Spokane, WA: $24.34 - $36.50
